DragonSword Awakening Trainer Guide โ Functions, Xmod Menu & Evidence
Updated 2026-07-25
What can the current DragonSword trainer do?
Recent DragonSword: Awakening Xmod videos now provide enough detail to move beyond a simple availability page. The clearest captions name four concrete functions:
- Infinite Health / Infinite HP โ keeps HP stable for combat and boss-mechanic practice;
- One Hit Kill โ dramatically increases damage for rapid enemy and stage clearing;
- Movement Speed Multiplier โ adjusts travel speed for exploration and gathering routes;
- Item editing โ changes backpack items or resources for equipment and progression testing.
A newer Thai Xmod menu review also advertises item spawning and character unlocking. Those two labels are visible demand and menu claims, but the available automatic transcription is not clean enough to support an invented button-by-button walkthrough.
Start with the full trainer function guide for the evidence, suggested test cases and unknowns for each option.
Current video evidence
| Video | Uploaded | Views observed | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quiet Ready Xmod menu review | July 24 | 303 | newest and fastest-growing trainer video; advertises invincibility, item spawning and character unlocking |
| Xmod Gamer English guide | July 23 | 334 | native caption names Infinite Health, One Hit Kill and Movement Speed Multiplier |
| Xmod Gamer Chinese guide | July 23 | 77 | audio transcript names an item panel, Infinite Health and One Hit Kill with approximate timestamps |
These are third-party videos. They establish what Xmod is advertising and demonstrating, not official Hound13 support.
Infinite Health
The English caption presents Infinite Health as a practice function: HP remains stable while the player attempts stages above their current level or learns boss attacks. The Chinese clip also names Infinite Health at approximately 00:19โ00:23.
The footage does not answer whether the effect covers the active hero only or the whole three-character party. It also does not show scripted damage, defeat-required quests or what happens after changing characters. Those are the first points a real compatibility test should check.
One Hit Kill
One Hit Kill is described as maximizing damage so ordinary enemies and stages clear quickly. The Chinese clip names it at approximately 00:23โ00:29.
This is useful for bypassing repeat combat during route or interface testing. It is not useful for judging a build: once damage is overridden, equipment, Status Ailments, Signal Skills and team synergy are no longer being compared normally.
A good test asks whether the option affects normal enemies, elites, bosses and party assists in the same way, and whether normal damage returns immediately after the toggle is disabled.
Movement Speed Multiplier
The English Xmod caption explicitly connects Movement Speed Multiplier with map travel, exploration and resource farming. This appears to alter movement rather than unlock Waypoints.
Test a low multiplier on a short route first. Check walking, sprinting and mounts separately, then cross a loading boundary. Very high values may skip triggers or make collision problems look like a working trainer feature.
For normal navigation, use the Waypoints and fast travel guide.
Item editing and spawning
The Chinese Xmod clip introduces an item-editing panel around 00:13โ00:19 and frames it as a way to adjust backpack items/resources for equipment testing. Quiet Readyโs video title advertises item creation.
โEdit itemโ may mean changing a quantity, selecting an item from a list, editing a slot identifier or altering a resource value. The current videos do not clearly establish one universal method.
If testing the function offline, start with an ordinary consumable or common material. Record the original quantity, make a small change, reopen the inventory, use one unit, then reload the game. Do not begin with a story key, promotion item or unique reward: an item value can exist while its related quest flag remains incomplete.
Character unlocking
Quiet Ready advertises character unlocking, but the current source set does not prove that the result is permanent. A menu could make a hero temporarily selectable, alter a roster flag, or expose an entry without completing the normal progression data.
A complete verification would need to show the hero after a full restart, confirm equipment and skills work, and demonstrate that normal unlock quests and roster state remain consistent. Until then, treat it as a menu claim rather than a confirmed permanent unlock.
How to test the menu without confusing the results
Use reversible functions before persistent edits:
- record the Steam game build and Xmod profile version;
- keep the test in single-player;
- try a low movement multiplier and return it to normal;
- test Infinite Health in one disposable encounter;
- test One Hit Kill against a normal enemy, then disable it;
- edit only a common material by a small amount;
- reload after each test instead of enabling several options together;
- leave character, quest and unique-item changes until last.
This order tells you which toggle caused which result. Turning on a dozen options at once produces no useful compatibility evidence.
What is still unknown
The recent videos do not reliably document:
- exact hotkeys;
- whether Xmod or DragonSword must be launched first;
- whether values persist after restart;
- whether every option works on Update 1.0.3;
- whether the active character or whole party is affected;
- safe reversal steps for a permanent item or character change;
- Online Co-op behavior.
Do not copy these missing instructions from another Xmod-supported game. A DragonSword-specific action remains unknown until the footage or a reproducible test shows it.
Compatibility baseline
| Check | Current baseline |
|---|---|
| Steam app | 4570720 |
| Platform | Windows PC through Steam |
| Current tracked patch | Update 1.0.3, published July 25, 2026 |
| Steam features | Single-player, Online Co-op, achievements, Steam Cloud and stats |
| Official trainer support | Not listed by Hound13 |
| Current third-party evidence | XMODhub listing plus three recent exact-game menu/function videos |
Patches can change memory addresses, signatures and gameplay state. A function being shown in a July 23 video does not prove that it remains compatible after the July 25 patch. Use the patch compatibility guide for a build-by-build test record.
