DragonSword Awakening SteamDB & Steam Status – App ID, Players and Updates

Updated 2026-07-24

Quick Steam status

Players searching for β€œSteamDB” usually want the app identifier, live release status, player activity, pricing or update history. The official Steam APIs provide the core facts even when SteamDB itself is unavailable.

The player number is a timestamped snapshot, not a permanent peak or daily average.

SteamDB is an independent third-party database and is not operated by Valve or Hound13.

Why Steam shows July 22 while Hound13 says July 23

Hound13’s official release communication uses Korea Standard Time. Steam can display the store date according to another region, so the checked US store shows Jul 22, 2026 while the actual Korean opening occurred on July 23 KST.

This is a timezone display difference, not evidence of two separate releases. See the release date timeline for the review delay and final opening time.

Price and package structure

The current checked US structure is:

  • base game: $29.99;
  • Deluxe Pack DLC: $19.99;
  • separate costume and Familiar DLC listings also exist.

Do not treat the combined total as a fixed standalone $49.99 Deluxe Edition SKU. The price and editions guide tracks the package boundary.

Player-count context

Valve’s current-player API returned 14,868 concurrent players during the July 24 check. That number can change minute by minute.

To interpret player data correctly:

  • distinguish current players from all-time peak;
  • record the timestamp and timezone;
  • do not compare a launch-hour snapshot with a later daily average;
  • remember that Steam-only data does not describe the earlier Korean service population;
  • use a stable source link rather than copying an undated screenshot.

Achievements and feature flags

Steam currently lists 59 achievements. Several are useful for guide planning because they confirm Waypoints, Treasure Maps, Goddess Statues, Dungeon Gates, Area Quests, puzzles, Subjugations and Raids.

Use the map guide hub for exploration achievements and the co-op guide for supported player counts.

Depots, branches and patch history

SteamDB can expose public package, depot, branch and change-history information, but a changed depot does not explain what changed in gameplay. For player-facing patch details, prioritize Hound13’s official news posts.

The site currently tracks the release build and official 1.0.1/1.0.2 patch notes. Use the engine and graphics guide for confirmed fixes affecting frame generation, FPS limits, resolution, crashes and blocked quests.

What SteamDB cannot prove by itself

A database change does not automatically prove:

  • a new feature is live;
  • a roadmap hero has shipped;
  • a balance value changed;
  • a hidden branch is publicly accessible;
  • a trainer or mod supports the current executable;
  • a store package is available in every region.

Use SteamDB as a change signal, then confirm the player-facing meaning through official patch notes or the released build.
